    Founded in 1948, it presently reached 5,000 members in 100 countries. Its aim is to promote the value of market and opinion research in illuminating real issues and bringing about effective decision-making. To facilitate this ongoing dialogue, ESOMAR creates and manages a comprehensive programme of industry-specific and thematic conferences, publications and communications as well as actively advocating self-regulation and the worldwide code of practice.
    Members agree to abide by the ICC/ESOMAR International Code on Market and Social Research, which has been jointly drafted by ESOMAR and the International Chamber of Commerce and is endorsed by the major national professional bodies around the world.

It was founded in 1995, became national in 2000 and currently joins Unione - Confcommercio Milano, Lodi, Monza, Brianza and Confcommercio - Imprese per l'Italia (from the 2nd of July). The main tasks of the association is to protect interests and identity of companies, that offers services for business and individuals, the law and to anticipate trends in the service sector. It is a system of service companies from different sectors, which promotes development opportunities and support of business between members. This national association also develops innovational services tailored to the specifics of members. The core values that represent the association are: innovation, listening, ability and timeliness to responses, personalization of services and respect of ethics.
