The Confcommercio document “Economic conjuncture in view of Christmas”, containing the updating of the macro-economic forecast as well as an analysis on the thirteenths and the expenditure orientations of the Italian families in view of the next Christmas holidays, reveals that the Italians will spend 33.6 billions Euro, 1.2% more than 2009, although the average expenditure per household in real terms will decrease. Food and technology will be the leading sectors, while clothing, shoes, sport and accessories (-4%) as well as books, CDs and DVDs (-1.2%) show the main decrease.
