The Italian Society of Statistics announced a competition for three awards for best Ph.D. thesis in Statistics, Applied Statistics and Demography. The competition is open to Ph.D. students who have discussed their thesis during the period 1 June 2009 – December 31, 2010. Interested parties should send, before March 31, 2011, an application to the President of the Italian Society of Statistics – Salita de ‘Crescenzi, 26 – 00186 Roma. The application must be accompanied by a copy of the thesis and an abstract of one page.
