The quarterly survey on the expectations of inflation and growth led by Bank of Italy and Sole 24 Ore on a sample of 500 firms with 50 or more employees, active in key sectors of the economy, excluding agriculture and construction, has revealed that production activity has slowed its pace of growth. Moreover, companies complain about an excessive tax burden. Views are more pessimistic among the companies operating in the service sector and those who are based in Central and Southern Italy.
