Istat has released the new basket of consumer prices for 2011. The basket 2011 is made up of 1377 products, which are re-aggregated in 591 representative positions, these are calculated on a monthly indexes of consumer prices. Compared to 2010, new positions enter the basket: PC Tablet, entrance to national parks, zoos and botanical gardens, suburban multi-modal integrated transport services, ethnic fast food, smoked salmon. Among the positions already included in the former index, that are spread out under the new classification, there are the mobile-telephone services (voice and SMS) and Internet services from mobile phones.
