Istat published the tables of the Notification on net deficit and government debt (Public Administration) referring to the period 2007-2010, with forecasts for 2011. On the Notification submitted by Italy, and also published by Eurostat, no reservations were expressed. In 2010 the Public Administrations’ net debt fell to 10.53 billion euro compared to the previous year, reaching the level of -71.211 billion euro, or 4.6% of GDP (5.4% in the previous year).
