EU and data collection from children

The European Commission is developing a new legislation on data collection regarding children. Esomar and Efamro (European Federation of Associations of Market Research Organizations) urged the European Parliament not to adopt over restricted rules, thus impeding collection and processing of data regarded as sensitive, which are currently allowed in presence of an explicit consensus by the parents of the interviewed child.
