Thursday, June 23 in Rome at 10.30 am at the Auditorium Conciliazione, was held the General Assembly of Confcommercio-Enterprises for Italy with the report of the Chairman Carlo Sangalli. The Assembly was attended by representatives of the 105 provincial organizations, the 20 regional unions and the 131 national professional organizations, members of Confcommercio, as well as numerous representatives of the institutions, of government, public administration, politics, banking and enterprise, for a total of about 1,300 participants. Some of the authorities present to the Assembly: Secretary to the Prime Minister, Gianni Letta, the vice president of CSM, Michele Vietti; the Ministers Renato Brunetta (PA and Innovation), Ferruccio Fazio (Health), Raffaele Fitto (Relations with the Regions), Maria Stella Gelmini (Education), Giorgia Meloni (Youth), Paolo Romani (Economic Development), Maurizio Sacconi (Work). Among the politicians: Lorenzo Cesa, Roberto Cota, Maurizio Gasparri, Enrico Letta, Francesco Rutelli. Other participants: Luigi Abete, Franco Bassanini, Raffaele Bonanni, Susanna Camusso, Antonio Catricalà, Fedele Confalonieri, Giuseppe Guzzetti, Antonio Marzano, Fabrizio Palenzona, Massimo Ponzellini, Dieter Rampl. The Assembly of Confcommercio-Enterprises for Italy has elected as members of the Confederal Executive Board Giovanni Cobolli Gigli, president of Federdistribuzione, and Enrico Postacchini, president of Confcommercio Bologna.
