After the increase of 1.9% in April, the Indicator of Consumption Confcommercio (ICC) also for the month of May 2011 notes an increase on an annual basis equal to 1.1%. In June,however, industrial production is estimated to fell by 0.1% compared to May and orders increase by 0.3%. The decline in demand for goods and services in May is the synthesis of a growth in demand for services (+0.2%) and a decrease in that for goods (-0.2%). Weakly positive variations were recorded only for the demand for leisure goods and services (+0.5%) and for communications (+0.2%). The other sectors have recorded a downward trend.
