The results of the quarterly growth and inflation expectations of firms with at least 50 employees in industry and services have been published in the Supplement of the Bank of Italy. Consumer inflation expectations were revised upward, while the assessments about the economic situation in general show a continuing uncertainty. The view on the conjuncture demand for their products become more cautious and slightly increases the percentage of firms that expect a worsening of conditions in the next three months. The assessments on the conditions for investment remain very uncertain as the conditions of access to credit remained unchanged.
