According to Istat, in the month of September, the seasonally adjusted index of confidence fell in both services and retail trade companies. In particular, there is a substantial decrease (from 93.9 to 82.5) for the former and more moderate (from 97.1 to 94.6) for second. Expectations worsen considerably in the services on the progress of the Italian economy and, to a lesser degree, the opinions and expectations on orders. Worsen the opinions on employment and business trends while expectations on labor market are deteriorating . Also the balance of expectations on selling prices dynamic reduced. In trading the indicator rises slightly in the large distribution (from 92.6 to 93.1), but drops strongly in the traditional one (from 104.1 to 97.8). Both the opinions and expectations on sales worsen, while the balance for inventories increases.
